Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! After over a year without having a sandwich, I had my first one today thanks to your amazing gluten-free bread. Previous to buying your bread, I had not been able to find any suitable replacement. The gluten-free bread that is sold frozen in grocery stores is horrible, nothing like real bread at all. I look forward to being a happy customer for many years to come. Special thanks to my Dietician, Leah, for recommending the Happy Baker to me. (via TripAdvisor)

I am super impressed with this place. I had just finished a run at Odell Park this afternoon with my dog and wanted to get some food. I went to the Dundonald St location and ran in to order, then told him I’d come back in 10 mins as I had a dog outside. After about 8 mins, I see him walking around from car to car looking for me so he could give me my food so I didn’t need to leave the dog alone again. SUPER! Yup, customer for life right here. ❤️ Oh, and the GRATEFUL BREAD oven sub - yup - I’m getting that again! Delish! Well done, Happy Baker!

I've been visiting Happy Baker since they were a one-location operation on King Street. Although I was sad to learn that the old Tingleys/Quiznos/Beaver Tails on Dundonald shut down, I was very pleased to discover that Happy Baker took over operations for the entire operation.
Here, you will find Happy Baker's standard baked goods offerings, including favourites such as fresh baked loaves of bread and pastries such as the coconut cream slice and the blueberry cheesecake tart. As well, Happy Baker dishes up both hard and soft ice cream and a full menu of prepared sandwiches.
On the ice cream front, I took advantage of Happy Baker's soft serve options. In addition to the standard vanilla and chocolate varieties, they offer around 30 other flavours. Being a fan of whoppers, I went for the malted milk option, which was lightly flavoured and came piled high in a sugar cone.
Be prepared to wait, sometimes, as employees may have to bounce between the pastry, sandwich and ice cream counters. But, it's worth it for the local treats. (via Yelp)

Happy Baker is my favorite place to grab a quick lunch through the work week. Today I tried their breakfasts for the first time at the Dundonald St location. Their Eggs Benedict is the best I've ever had! The hollandaise was spot on and the cheese and chive scone made all the difference! Not to mention the portions are very generous and the service is excellent (and that's true of all HB locations I've visited!). (via Facebook)

We stopped for a quick lunch on Saturday while in the city. Everyone was sooo happy with their lunch. It was delicious. The soup, salads, pizza, and sandwiches were great. I also bought a loaf of gluten friendly bread. I have to say it is the best gluten free bread I have ever eaten. The ice cream and sorbet were also very tasty! Thank-you. (via Facebook)

This is a must go to place in Fredericton, or a must stop if passing through. Amazing bakery with incredible breads, desserts, and soup. It also has great coffee and a great feel when sitting down for a meal. Breakfast is very good but I can't recommend the Urban Cowboy sandwich enough. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The diversity of the people sitting down and w how great the food was, it reminded me of a NYC neighbourhood spot. (via Yelp)

Quality and Cleanliness
As my title describes, these are the two points I look for when visiting an establishment. And I found both at the Happy Baker on Dundonald and Smythe St. I was immediately assisted and chose their awesome sourdough bread which is made using their own natural sourdough starter- something that is loaded with health benefits and hard to find! At the last minute i decided to take a mini mincemeat pie and I can say that it was an incredible treat. The crust was a rich butter shortbread and the filling was obviously homemade and perfectly seasoned, just too perfect.
I looked around and could see how clean the floors, counters, glass cases and tables were so that is a reflection on the people who own and operate a business. I loved everything about the place. Well done! We'll be back. and so will our friends. (via TripAdvisor)
